I know most of you folks are Linux gurus but perhaps one or two may know the answer to this.

My daughter's pc had two user logins. One was garbled and unused (remember that problem with the desktop? This is the PC) and I deleted it.

Problem is that that was the primary login. And now, evertime I reboot it, it has the old user login on and asking me to insert the correct one. When I put in the correct userid, I go forward.

Question: Is there a way to bypass the login screen with defaulting to the current login user id?

You can always go in safe mode, F8 on my machine, go in as administrator to the control panel /user groups, delete the old account and create a new one.

Oh I deleted that one account, and there's only ONE account left (no admin). This IS my admin acct I guess.

But how do I make it default and bypass login?
