Awesome story about "The Troubles" in northern Ireland, centered around a mother of 10 being dragged out of her apartment and "disappeared." Imagine being her 16-year-old son, who years later gets into a cab, and the cab driver was one of the thugs who took his mother.

The story provides strong backing that this action was authorized by none other than Gerry "I am not a member of the I.R.A." Adams.

Thanks for the link. A great but frustrating read, not sure why but when reading New Yorker articles the page keeps freezing when scrolling down.
