After months and months of hair pulling, testing, more hair pulling and even more testing, we've finally released the Beta version of Vector Linux 7.1, which includes a 64-bit version. I've been running the 64-bit version for months as part of the testing process and it's going to be an awesome release when it goes gold. If you're up for a bit of fun and want to see the changes, give it a shot. 32-bit version: http://vlcore.vectorlinux.com/pkg/untested/veclinux-7.1/iso/VL-7.1-STD-B1.iso 64-bit version: http://vlcore.vectorlinux.com/pkg/untested/veclinux-7.1/iso/VL64-7.1-STD-B1.iso Note: Don't select the "Auto" installation option if you're installing it with something else on the same drive. Auto does just that. Detects what's on the primary drive and then takes up the rest of the disc for its installation. If you're fine with that, go for it, but if you want to fine tune the installation, ensure you select Advanced.
