Abdul Rahim al-Nashiri, the network's chief of operations in the Persian Gulf, was captured about two weeks ago, sources said.

This is the man who planned the attack on the USS Cole, the USS Cole is repaired and back at sea and the person who orchestrated the attack upon it is in our custody. So I think this one is a pretty big win in the War On Terrorism.

Does anyone remember what happened two weeks ago in Yemen with the Hellfire Missile, I think that was a clever way to provide the possibility that this bastard was one of the dead. If so, way to go CIA!

    Misu Hey, I saw that.

Yes, heard about this earlier while perusing one of my favorite news sites.

I wonder what this means, in terms of our success on this war. I can't help but think that al-queda let this guy get caught, to sort of give us a sense of false-security.

I've got an awful feeling about the holidays...
