[Trivia]Nazi concentration camps

    Steve Is that it, then?

Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen are but two of many Nazi concentration camps. Yet, it seems that most of the survivors of the camps came from those two places. You very rarely hear of survivors from any other camps.

    Why?

A few of the camps were used for immediate extermination.

Trivia's no fun here, anymore ;)

Correct. Most of the camps were designed for immediate extermination. There were no survivors from them (actually, i think about 5 people did survive) because all were killed immediately.

Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen were slave labor camps where the infernal conditions certainly took their toll but where the victims were forced to work as long as they could - then they were murdered.
