Title says it all. What say you? What quantity of lunar material has been brought back to Earth by manned missions?

    Kilograms or pounds, please ;)

The early on-foot missions didn't bring a lot, they also had limited on-surface time. The last three missions were multi-day campouts and with the rovers they brought a lot more of the bacon home.

I would guess about 800 pounds, 363 Kilograms spread out amongst the 6 landings.

    Heh, no :)

According to my source, which I can't recall at this second and didn't bookmark but I think it was somewhere from msnbc.com, it was 365 kilograms.

Todd came very close, good showing!

800 pounds is a lot of payload to bring back, if you think about it!

ShinyTop I know what is right or wrong!

The Russians had at least one robotic mission that returned lunar material. Was that included in the total?
