I suppose this isn't the time to list all the horror stories of folks that have had this done before you?

Well it's all done. LOL I'm ok. Just feel like I got hit by a truck. They gave me tylenol 3 (codeine) for the pain. I got a wittle hole in my bewwy button now. At least there's not a big scar. Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Love you all :)

I'm glad that everything went well!!!!!

Enjoy the Tylenol 3 and get lots of rest. Since Hubby was too chicken....he now gets to take care of all the kids while you rest. :)

Or we kick hubby's butt. :)

Great that you are ok. I gather this means you will get a lot of rest.

ShinyTop I know what is right or wrong!

Take the pills. Pain is not necessary.

LOL Thanks guys. Up to feed baby and just checking in. Feeling a lot better now. Shoulders hurt a lot though. They pump air into your stomach and there's some left behind and it rises in your body and settles in the shoulders. Kinda feel like someone yanked my arms real hard. I got boo boos. Whaaaaa!!! ;)

Oh and icky thing to tell you all. They went in through my belly button. Well it's a little incision but they don't stitch it!! It's an open cut that you just let heal. You keep a band aid on it and it will be closing on it's own. Freaking me out. I feel like a balloon that's popped or something. Every time I bend down, I get this weird thought that my insides are gonna squish out through that cut. Freaky ;)

Oh poor Violet. That does seem a bit icky but trust me, the best thing for your bellybutton is NOT to be stitched. It's one of the big wonders of the human body, you know, the belly button.

Laproscopic *anything* is a weird procedure, amazing to watch it done. Much better than the same conventional surgery though as far as recovery time.
