Wow... Last year it was Springsteen... Can you see a trend?

Next year, the Beatles, and then Rolling Stones.

Shouldn't that be the Beatle? There's only one left now.

They will have a hologram for the other three. They will then show off how futuristic they are... missing the irony.

Maybe it could be 1/4 The Beatles and 3/4 a Beatles tribute band. :)

Make that 2/4 for The Beatles. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr still live.

They looked awful, fossils. Couldn't hold a note. Lungs must be shot.

Daltrey is 65. Townshend is 64. Considering their ages, and the damage they've probably done to their bodies over the years, I think it sounded pretty good, especially for a half-deaf guitarist.

You want to talk about weak, let's consider Miss Underwood's warble at the end of the National Anthem. :)

I noticed too that Queen Latifah yanked out one of her ear monitors about 2 bars into America the Beautiful; it was obvious that she was having sound issues just prior to that.

That's a good observation, Bob, but the counter is that at some point they should just agree that they're not up to it.

I saw a concert by ZZ Top a couple years ago, and Billy Gibbons looked like hell. He kept forgetting his own lyrics, missing licks in his music, Dusty kept looking over at him and trying to adjust what he was playing to smooth it over and go on. It was bad. I thought the same thing then about ZZ that I thougth about The Who, that they really needed to just retire, stop performing.
