I've already posted about Manning running for office in this thread. Now we have a Libertarian who feels he's a prime candidate for POTUS.

Libertarian presidential candidate Adam Kokesh arrested in North Texas

In this case, he's a clueless idiot who obviously thinks the laws don't apply to him.

First, he gets pulled over for an expired temporary registration tag (which is pretty stupid, all you have to do is go to the dealership to get a new temporary tag until your plates come in). Gets a warning and is sent on his way. Then the idiot gets pulled over for speeding. OK, we have a speeder with an expired tag, cops are definitely going to look closely at this one and do a search.

And surprise! He's got marijuana. Seriously? How freaking clueless can you get?

So now he's claiming the arrest was "unconstitutional" (riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, will love to see how that one holds up in court), and is decrying the power of the institution to keep Libertarians from voicing their opinion. Here's a clue moron. Don't break the law to begin with and you won't get arrested. Sheesh!

It seems the only people that want to run for office now are the crooks who are upfront about being crooks. And while this may not be a bad thing as far as knowing their background, it's a sad day indeed that we can't get a decent candidate to run who doesn't have a criminal background.

Anybody who smiles like he did in his mugshot has a few screws missing. Someday I hope this country gets back into or near the center.
