I havent created a website in a while so I completely forget how to do it. I cant look at my website to try to remember either as it is being renewed and awaiting payment verification.

Can someone please look at attached file and see why when I click on "News" it opens in new window rather than in middle of page. I cant believe I forget how to do these already :(

Thank you to anyone who can help me out

change the link's target to equal the frame name you want it to go to

for instance in the link tag, include target="main"

    LissaKay Oh ... Really???

I use an i-frame in my web site.

This is the tag for the frame itself. Note that I named it "content"
    PHP:
    <iframe src="home.htm" FRAMEBORDER="0" height="560" width="550" scrolling=auto NAME="content"></iframe>
By default, home.htm opens in the frame when the page is accessed. For other links, such as 'about me' the link has the target set to 'content'
    PHP:
    <class="menu" href="about.htm" target="content">about me</a>
Feel free to visit and check the source. I'm a relative newbie with web page design, so don't laugh too loud! :)

Ugh!! I used to be a pro at this after taking forever to learn it. Now I just cant get it again. I remember needing 5 images total (right, left, top, bottom, iframe bg image) and htm(l) files to go with all of those. But I cant remember how I broke down the only htm(l) file that is created after slicing images in Image Ready. I totally placed the iframe in the wrong place. Its on the top of page...

Sorry that I am so lost. I cant believe I actually fogot how to do them :(

    LissaKay Oh ... Really???

I PM'd you the line to replace and the code to replace it with. It looks good! I wish I could work with graphics. I'm a complete idiot ... I played around with Fireworks and ended up with a mess.

For the benefit of others and curiosity satisfaction, here's what I suggested:
(Where's Sharon? She's the web dev wiz around here!)

    Change this line:
    PHP:
    <IMG SRC="images/bg.gif" WIDTH=420 HEIGHT=387 BORDER=0 USEMAP="#bg_Map" NAME="main">
    To this:
    PHP:
    <iframe src="main.html" FRAMEBORDER="0" height="387" width="420" scrolling=auto NAME="main"></iframe>

Thank you again Demi. After doing that I noticed I left out a image text link and had to redo it all over again...lol
