Study shows fasting could restart immune system

    Fasting for three days can regenerate entire immune system, study finds

    The thing that really stood out was the following:

    How typical. Rather than being excited for a natural method that has the possibility of kick starting a person's immune system, we have the tired old song of "let's find a way to do it with drugs". His membership on the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Monographs - Biologics & Biotechnology Expert Committee wouldn't have anything to do with that, would it?

    It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

    What was their fasting routine? I vaguely remember something about fasting before holidays.
