Amnesty International approves policy to decriminalize sex trade | CTV News

Of course, the usual suspects are foaming at the mouth over the new policy. But this is definitely a step in the right direction.

I wasn't aware Amnesty was against this? Oh wait, they were... because of the slave trafficking.

You can't stop people from fucking. About all you can really do is try to keep children from being involved. In America that's anybody less than 18 years old. Other societies have lower ages. Presumably some cultures have none.

I'm a little surprised at European porn laws which allow persons much younger than 18, even 16 and below, to participate at some level in porn. No wonder Roman Polanski fled to Europe.

Americans who obtain porn from European governed porn websites stand a substantial risk of having what the US would consider child porn (14-17 year old) material on their computers. Anybody interested should stick to material produced by major porn producers displaying the 18 U.S.C. 2257 endorsement. (All models documented 18 or over at time of shooting.)
