Well, I have to admit, except for the snowflake fail, the opening ceremony was pretty cool.
Though it was interesting to see Communism missing from that presentation of Russia's history. I might have missed it, as I was dozing on and off.
We were watching it last night, too, and I made the same comment to my wife.
On another note: That little girl that started it off seemed to be in just about every "act" of the 3 hour + extravaganza. She had to be pretty tired by the end of it all.
My twitter feed has a number of Poles, Ukrainians, Czechs, etc... We were having fun of how they've missed the history of raping every neighbor they've ever had.
