Sadly, the brother of a friend was murdered in cold blood this weekend.

Friends of the family asked me to suggest some articles/organizations which would help educate them as to how to help the family. I thought I'd post a copy of my suggestions -- dealing with psychological trauma, grief, survivor stress, legal considerations, etc. -- so that others who (God forbid) might find themselves is a similar situation have the resources on file.

Advocat, I'm sorry for your friend's loss. The POMC is the only organization you've listed that I have firsthand experience with, and they do a fantastic job. I have filed the rest of the links away for later reading, Thanks.

Can we get these links catalogued in the Bookmarks section?

I'll add them to the new database as time allows, though it might be more efficient if there was some way of pulling them up in context; I haven't used the new system yet... is there a way of defining keywords?
