Peso is falling, but Mexico is doing well

    The peso is falling, but, in all other respects, at least Mexico is doing well. And that's something to be grateful for.

    Why's the Peso falling?

    Hmmm...let's see, Mexico exports its poverty to the U.S. The illegals send an estimated $24 Billion back to Mexico annually...the dollar falls, the peso falls. Now, Mexico with the most to gain from NAFTA isn't happy with some of the provisions...isn't this rich.

    I'm not a Mexico expert, but everything I've read indicates that it is slowly on the upswing. At least, the northern industrial regions are doing OK.

    Remember that it took South Korea almost a quarter century to climb out; Mexico has more than twice the population, so it needs more time.

    Mexico's biggest problems start with all the graft and corruption laced throughout their government. While every government has these problems to some extent, the Mexicans have refined their's to such a high degree, were you to look up the definition of Graft in the dictionary it would say: Graft - See Mexico.........
