I had a subscription at one time and remember the 1977 cover. This is a distraction from the real problems in the world that at least one leader of the free world (who will <cough> remain unnamed) doesn't have the guts to deal with and hopes nobody notices it.

The real problem is that we are making profound socio-economic decisions based upon the Global Warming religious tenets.

It's getting warmer. No it's getting cooler. No it's getting warmer AND cooler. It's caused by man. It's a natural phenomenon caused by solar variance and Earth's varying orbit. The Earth's climate changes. No it stays the same. It changes due to the influence and impact by man. Man is hurting the climate. Man is helping the climate. Man has nothing to do with it.

The problem with weather is everybody talks about it but nobody does anything about it. No, that's not right. The problem with weather is that a lot of liberals act like there's anything man can do to change the weather. They executed witches during Medieval times because they thought witches could influence the weather.

These days they think if only a few, more energy concerned (or ruled/pwned) countries think if they change their policies (no matter if it ruins their economy and renders their efforts ineffective) that somehow their weather will be okay and only the sinners' weather will be affected.

The first thing we need to do is separate the liberal religious agenda from the Global Warming religion and study it like science, and determine (1) if man has anything to do with it, and (2) if man can do anything about it.

After that maybe we can decide if we need to do anything other than ruin our economy and ruin our place in global commerce.
