Yesterday night the our news broadcasted a quite disturbing report.

Seems that under american and Israeli pressure, the PA have asked Saddam's representatives in the territories to stop paying money to the families of Shahids (dead suicide bombers). The representatives comply and stopped paying those families. The story went on to see the anger and dispair of those families that cannot afford even food and are very poor (well, just like the rest of the palestinians). Those people were complaining that the PA is stopping Iraq from supporting them economically but does not do so itself. The last thing the story mentioned is that intelligence reports from our army show that Hammas and Islamic Jihad are now getting in to support those people, which will further loosen the PA control in the territories.

I found the whole thing REALLY disturbing. First, I don't think any of these familes should get any prize for letting thier son/daughter explode in a bus or a street taking dozens of innocent lives with him. (they do get punished, as IDF demolishs thier house)

Seond, the palestinian street is so poor that they will support just about ANYONE that will give them money. And here's my question.

They have lots of money coming from europe and israel (Israel collects taxes for them pass it to the PA) and if they would stop even a small precent of the coruption, they'll have pleanty for the needed people! But no, they let rival organizations like Irag, Hammas and Islamic Jihad take care of the people, making them much more fond of those terror organizations.

od damn it, the palestinians ultimate enemy is thier own leadership and the arab world. The screw them, they kep screwing them and they make them come back for more. Go figure.

Maybe if Israel was to offer to sign a pledge with each person, don't blow yourself up, turn yourself in after being given the bomb and get the same amount of money for your family. Take away the money incentive from the deed, there would be problems but hell would beat them blowing themselves up.

Sounds like Arafat doesn't think Saddam will be around much longer.
