    What version of outlook?

    easy..10,000$ answer.....

    do a search for .pst files

    then go to outlook and use the import/export function.

    choose Import from another program or file

    then choose Personal folder file (.pst)

    This should suck in all your old personal folders and emails stored on that machine..

    you may also find archive.pst (old emails archived)
    import those also..

    5 minute job...no problems...

    **edited to add additional instructions

    I thought Outlook Express used .dbx files?

    ShinyTop I know what is right or wrong!

    The import function in Expess recognizes Outlook files. I have gone back and forth several times.

    if the old email program was outlook Express and not Outlook then use the import/export function, but choose Import Internet mail and addresses (this one is for Express)

    **edit cause my spelling still sux..hehehe
