Is SARS really the FLU?

    The research into AIDS is valid as it's traditionally a death sentence if you get it. If we were to take that argument, one shouldn't be tossing money towards cancer research or any other disease.

    The point here is that SARS doesn't warrant the hype and money being tossed at it. It's not a death sentence if you get it, and the majority of those that get it, will recover.

    Lady, I think it's a fair assesment. The ratio of who can get HIV and die of it and how money is distributed for research is highly irrational.

    But then again, there's much more money going in to Breast Cancer than Prostate Cancer while the latter kills more men than the former killing women.

    As Biker said above somewhere, someone is making billions with this SARS scare.
