INS can't find 300,000 slated for deportation

    Considering the reports the INS has been putting out over the last few weeks, I have to admit this caught me by surprise.

    To be fair, the report also says there are over 7 million illegal immigrants in the US
    That's an awful lot of people to try and track.

    It's really not that many to track if you take into consideration, that the INS has no desire to even attempt to ferret out the illegals.

    The INS will claim they lack the resources to do the job properly when in reality the problem is a combination of lack of resources and chronic apathy.

    I'm not surprised the INS can't find over 300k slated for deportation - California lost track of more than HALF their sex offendors, which is roughly 33,200 people that are SUPPOSED to be listed under Megan's Law....
