I remembera time when you didn't need ActiveX enabled simply to retrieve the news from a news web site. Someone needs to coin a term for websites that has the same connotation that "bloatware" does for software. I mean, c'mon people, just because some people do have broadband doesn't mean you have to crap up your website with all sorts of bells and whistles that do nothing to enhance the content and only serve to slow down the loading of the pages. Frankly, even with broadband, if a site is taking more than 5 seconds, I'm outta there!
