You would think that Jennifer Lawrence, the biggest star name in American Hustle, would have been paid accordingly. But the Sony hack reveals that, in terms of back-end compensation (points), Amy Adams and Lawrence were at 7 points, while male stars Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, Jeremy Renner, as well as director David O’Russell received 9 points.

Please remind me of this story when the next movie that lectures us on gender equality comes out. :D

At the time of Silver Book Lining, Cooper was MUCH bigger than Lawrence. This was before the Hunger Games.

This is American Hustle, which was released almost two years after the first Hunger Games.

Ahhh Cooper was in that? Didn't she play a minor role?

They've never been on par, and it's been mentioned before. But I love this Sony hack, it's a treasure trove that just keeps giving and giving, especially the correspondences between Scott Rudin and Amy Pascal, uber-Dems who make racial cracks about Obama. Good, clean fun watching the lefties out in Hollywood having to roll around in their own shit while they try to apologize their way out of everything.
    Allene and ethics like this.
