Slow how? And at what time? I may need to rearrange some cron jobs depending on when it's happening.

I'm not having any problems with it, but I just came on about 10 minutes ago.

Most of my attempts to log on in the past few days have timed out.

However, working a lot better tonight.

Just slow - time of day doesn't matter for me, it's not instantaneous like other sites. when I log in and it tells me it's redirecting, I get fed up of waiting and click on the link to speed it up

Sounds like the home page issue.

Quite possibly. Now that you've mentioned it, loading internal pages after that aren't so slow. And posting this message was instantaneous

Strange. The portal page is slow on the initial load, but the forums are normally pretty speedy.

Today is the first in about the past week when I haven't had trouble logging in and had time outs when attempting to. Running beautifully.

Sorry for resurrecting this one...and please don't take offense to this...but I figured you guys would want some feedback. And I'd like to see if it's just me.

But GA has to be the slowest site that I visit on a regular basis. The page load times are horrendous. I feel like I'm back on dial-up sometimes. I know you guys had some hosting issues and then the vBulletin upgrades didn't help. But the last couple weeks have been absolutely atrocious. It's very difficult to navigate the site when it takes 15+ seconds for each page to load.

I am seeing this both at the office and at home...at random times throughout the day. Even when it speeds up, it's still slow. Or slower than I think it should be or slower than it used to be. However, when I navigate the site on my iPhone via Tapatalk, it's fast as can be. Which leads me to believe the problem is with vBulletin and not the host?

    Anyone else seeing this?

EDIT: it took this page 7.9 seconds to load after I hit the post button.

    Tracert looks fine.

What browser and how many addons are you using in it? The newer version of the software does require a lot more resources and queries, but I'm not seeing the type of response times you're claiming.

Jimeez, it took me 4 seconds to go from the e-mail alert to your post. I don't know what the standard is, but I can live with 4 seconds. Being out in the country for the past 8 years, I'm conditioned to things going more slowly, I guess.

Well, can't use Chrome anymore. Which was definitely MUCH faster. I guess I could give IE a try again.

Disable all plugins and extensions and see if the issue clears up.

I'm running Opera and Firefox (no addons for either) and am not seeing any heavy duty slow downs.

Edit -- You can also try Chrome again. I've temporarily disabled port flooding on the firewall as part of another troubleshooting process. I may look for another firewall solution other than what we're using right now.

Before I try Chrome again, when did you disable it? Because as of Sunday (the 23rd) I still have the Chrome problem.

I'll give the plugin and extension thing a try, BUT I don't see these kind of page load problems with other sites. Got any vBulletin 4.0.3 sites I could try?

Also, as always, thank you for responding so quickly. Don't know how you always do that, but thank you.
