Fast Food Cashiers may be extinct in the next 3-5 years

    Don't see it happening. There are far too many ethical considerations to be built into the programming that many aren't willing to face for something like this to be common place. In addition, it's doubtful they can create a hardened system that is impervious to being hacked, especially if these vehicles are to be connected in any shape or fashion to the Internet.

    Amen to that one. They are already "hacking" trucks by loading them with explosives and driving them into situations that cause mass injuries and deaths. To a degree this is somewhat limited by the need for a suicide attacker who is willing to die for the cause. Remove the need for a suicide attacker and the only barriers you have left are technological defenses. Yet I get the feeling that technology is growing faster than our understanding of technology.
