    Having to grow up in Soviet Union and attending their schools, I was always perplexed how much of a difference the schools were there than they are in the United States. Mainly, it was about the level of education, and the expectations from the society to succeed.

    What I want to share here is a parallel story of a blind man living as a man who can see. And how he does this is by ignoring the society and its expectations.
