DUI's up 50% after marijuana legislation passed in Colorado

    As if this was any surprise.

    Any bets we see that number go up more before the end of the year?

    Regardless of the tax revenue brought in, this was an ill thought out law with little regard for the consequences of passage.

    said 15 percent of their patients arrested for driving under the influence were driving under the influence of marijuana,

    I don't see this as a huge problem in context of the entire issue. Of course there would be an increase and it was 8% prior so... doubled?

    Habitual pot smokers are probably no worse than habitual drinkers. Things will probably be okay if the total DUI rate including both pot and booze does not increase over booze alone.
