Court Challenge to New Zealand's Tougher Immigration Laws

    New Zealand, a country that already had some of the toughest immigration laws, tightened them up even further. Well, at least there's someone thinking in the country and the new laws are now being challenged.

    As someone who has tried twice over the years to emigrate there, I can tell you with certainty that they were substantially difficult as it was. In the mid 80's and early 90's, I had the money, my occupation was on the occupational shortages list, I had travelled there on a job seeking visa and actually found a job. What they really didn't like at the government level were Americans. ;)
