Just FYI. I have on my Mac a top of the line cookie controller program. It scans ALL my cookies on all my browsers on the machine and anywhere else they are stored. It tracks flash cookies and forever cookies--all those that would be "bad" cookies. It does it in about 30 seconds. It then IDs the tracking cookies from the "harmless" cookies. It allows me with a push of a key to instantly delete just the tracking cookies. It also gives me an option to keep a tracking cookie on a cookie by cookie basis. The program IDs the new GA software log in tracking cookie as also being a tracking cookie. To stop from being logged out by the deletion of the cookie by my program I just check a little box that says to leave it alone. It recognized the previous software GA cookie as an OK cookie. Again simply for your info. My program regularly updates its definitions so maybe soon the GA cookie will pass their test.
