Due to pesticide risks. Not all, just these:
Thanks for the advice. My favorite is strawberries and I've known for a long time that they are high pesticide risk. As expensive as the poison strawberries are, I think I'll just switch to bananas because you peel the skin off, so sprayed pesticides have little effect.
It's hard to keep strawberries from going moldy anyway. Bananas last a long time, don't require refrigeration, and you can make banana bread if you let them sit too long.
