Class action lawsuit against Facebook over privacy

    It's about bloody time, too.

    It's a start. While a win would only apply to British Columbia, I'd hope that it would start a trickle down effect where Facebook is forced to consider privacy in a broader sense.

    Good for her!!!! I think Canada has tougher privacy laws than the United States. I can find information for Americans online more easily than I can for Canadians. That said, some of FB's users are their own worst enemies. A few members of the younger generation in my extended family are a good example. They should be keeping their fingers crossed that the next time they have a job interview nobody in HR will check their FB page.

    It's always either the Europeans or Canadians who do this too. Pretty sad.

    Canada has some pretty nice privacy laws on the books. The EU, on the other hand, tends to take things too far IMO.
