Quite frankly, I think it is bad manners to patronize people without children. They should MTOB!

My wife and I were together for three years. We never, and I mean never ever even raised the subject of kids or having them. We enjoyed each other and our lives together during that time--which involved a lot of freedom to travel and "do things."

Separate from my personal experience and preference I've got two things to say about having kids:

    1. There is no greater contribution a person can make in life than if they have children to successfully be able to raise and nurture that child to grow up to be a loving, upright, and truly decent human being of integrity.

    2. A very large percentage of people that choose to have kids shouldn't have done so and are not fit to be parents.
