    Sam Cute and cuddly!

This one is tucked away in my little knoggin. My mom gave it to me when I was about 10 years old.

    1 1/4 cup flour
    1/2 cup sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. baking soda

    1 Tbs. white vinigar
add milk to vinigar to make 1 cup
    1 egg
beat and add to dry ingredients

Very good light and fluffy. They rise to about 1/2 an inch thick. Not like the paper thin IHOP crap.

This will yield about six or seven good size pancakes.

You can use actual buttermilk instead of the milk and vinigar but I never do.
The vinigar combined with the baking soda is what makes them rise so well.

I'm an old "Bisquick" man myself,(although I add baking powder and a bit of brown sugar;)) but this looks worth a try. :)

Ditto, except we use beer instead of milk.
