Still, the only options we're given is vote for this guy, or vote for that guy.

We are in for a very wild ride in 2014 if my expectations prove out. 2014 will be the year that Obamacare really hits the nation. 2014 will be the year that "quantive easing" has to stop. 2014 will be the year that the gummint has to face bailing out the 20% of our economy (the healthcare sector) that they trashed out with Obamacare.

2014 will be the year that many poor people are thrilled to finally get health care, while a much larger number of working people will discover that they can no longer afford health care, but that their taxes went up so that people who don't work can have health care. Big question for 2014: by the end of the year what percent of the population will not be covered by health insurance? And how will the demographic of the uninsured change? (I predict that the numbers of non-workers who have access to medical care will soar while at the same time the numbers of working people who are without access to health care will also soar. 2013: you don't have health care because you have no income. 2014: you have no health care because your taxes went up so much you can't afford it.)

2014 will be the year that Obama meets reality like a car speeding at 90 mph slams into a freeway abutment, and unfortunately most Americans will be with Obama in the back seat of that car.

One thing for many Americans: If you have a negative net worth 2014 will be a great year for you! Same for debtors.

Bad news: if you have investments or savings you will see your dollars turned into Monopoly money.
