    Oh, wow. Our first PC was a PS/2.

    When I was in IT, I must have had about a dozen BAT files to remap drives between systems. Win95/98 days. Thought I was pretty cool to have figured out so many at the time.

    I remember some of this as a user who got her first PC at home in the late 1980s.

    RCA Elf 1975. Apple ][e 1983. Fat Mac '86. Amstrad PPC640 (a "portable desktop" with full-sized keyboard, 4" monochrome LCD screen and ran off of D batteries) 1988. A mix of Macs and PCs up until '95. Last Mac was a Performa. My favorite was the IIci. I also had a Newton. All PCs since then. iPads since they came out, current is the iPad Pro 10.5.
