Android Phones Sending Data to China

    It's a back door that affects mostly buyers of disposable and prepaid phones, as well as international customers. It's unclear exactly how many phones are affected, though if I read the chain of articles correctly it looks like it's mostly owners of less expensive Chinese-made phones.

    Still reading: according to the company that wrote the software, it was not intended to be included on smartphones in the United States market and was just designed to help Chinese phone manufacturers monitor user behavior.
