And US airlines wonder why they're viewed so dismally?

    These guys are as bad as banks are in dreaming up new ways to fleece their customers with bullshit charges. It's bad enough that they pack you in like cattle and then nickle and dime you to death for services that used to be free. Any bets the asshole that came up with this idea was given a nice bonus for thinking up such an insidious scheme?

    Then, on the flip side, you have the best of the best. Notice there's not a single US carrier in that top ten list.

    Holy crap! Look at the suites on the Etihad Airway plane! THAT'S called traveling in style!

    They've definitely gone downhill since 9/11. I read somewhere today that Delta is considering bringing back free meals in Economy. We'll see what happens. I just hope they did something to their computer system to strengthen it. We had the misfortune to fly on Delta on the morning after their IT meltdown last August--stuck in Atlanta for five hours and three standbys.
