    I was intrigued to find this report on a criminology web site:
    Assessment Measurement Techniques for Identifying Race, Ethnicity and Gender

    Nothing really earth-shattering here, except the study proves that (97% of the time), observers can correctly identify race, ethnic background and gender. You see, the purpose of the study was to see if observers could correctly identify people by race/ethnic background... which would show that race-based stops were possible. Obviously -- at least 97% of the time -- they are.

    Wow, some surprise. US tax dollars at work! :nut:
