I'm curious, what are the different degrees and what do they mean? Like say for example If I said I had a BA in Computer Science (no I don't really) what does that mean I supposedly know how to do?

It's usually a BS that's in Computer Science not BA. Well, at least when I went to school that is.

It would depend on what you specialized in, what degree track. Usually business are interested in what classes you took when looking at your transcript. You could get a BA in some Computer Science Degrees which would be in those some case an Addition of essentially a minor in a Foreign Language and some additional fine arts courses. Like when I was at a University for Comp Sci, I was in the Systems Analyst Track, there was a Programmer's Track, and a Business Programmer's Track.
