9/11 terrorists caught testing airport security

    I don't know how credible this is, but it was Logan airport in Boston where it is supposed to have occurred. People were a lot more laid back before 9/11. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if this account is accurate because I read somewhere that they did dry runs and observations for quite some time beforehand.

    I may have been sitting next to one of these long-range planners on a cross-country flight from Boston a year or so before the attack, when I got bumped up to business class after getting on the plane because the airline messed up the seating plan. But I have told that story here before, so I'll spare you all another round of the same, other than to say the cockpit doors were wide open, and we didn't associate Middle Eastern men with terrorism in pre-9/11 days.
