While funny, there is a lot of truth to your post. The Republicans failed miserably to put forth a viable candidate to compete against Obama. It would have been so easy too. But man they sure missed it by a long shot.
On a side note, I have been fly fishing for almost 2 decades now with a former PA politician who has since moved on to federal politics. I'll not name him for obvious reasons. He has successfully pinpointed the presidential winner each election since I have known him. He does this before the primaries end. Tells me our votes don't mean diddly; it's over before it begins. I've never quite figured out if he's just messing with me. But he's nailed them every time.
Obama will be re-elected by the way.

Wasn't meant to be funny (it's not in Rick's) and you all know my stance as being a true FISCALLY Conservative person. These guys are all shit, shittier than diarrhea shit.
WIth the GOP lot? It would not be a surprise.

Whenever Cicero spoke, the people reacted and said, "He spoke so well." But when Demosthenes spoke, the people said, "Let us march."

I've known for months that the Republicans have no viable candidate within their contenders. My only doubts are that I'm somehow not like the rest of Obama detractors. I want something to vote for, not just something to vote against. None of the Republicans represent anything I'd want to vote for.

You hit the nail on the head there. I can't remember the last time that scenario existed. Clinton maybe?

OK I agree that the GOP isn't putting its best foot forward. But without endorsing him I think Romney is a viable candidate against Obama. Would a lot of people like a stronger candidate? Yeah, sure but we had worse before. Remember McCain. I guess it all comes down to what one thinks it the most important issue or issues. Mine is that someone from the GOP group beat Obama. Obama out is what it is all about for me. Focus on that you GOP guys and girls. The next election is the most important in the history of modern American and could be the most important one since 1860.
