I can barely get through some of the summaries of the day's testimony.

Thank God the prosecution seems to be crisp and competent and the defense less so:

    And this:

I look forward to Sandusky developing a myriad of health problems in the run-up to sentencing, the way some middle-aged or older guilty-as-hell perps do to try to get a more lenient sentence, but I don't see the judge doing anything less than throwing the book, hell, the entire library at this asshole.

Thank you for the link. I live right here in the heart of Central Pennsylvania and this story is everywhere you go. It's refreshing to read an outside viewpoint.

Wait! What!? I didn't see the video earlier (blocked from work). Oh my! I can't even begin to understand why they let him in front of a camera. His defense team should just lock him in a cell somewhere until this thing is over. if they were smart....

This man has been creeping me out for a long time. I bet his wife knew all about it, but looked the other way!

And it ends. Defense rested their case today without Sandusky taking the stand. I wonder if the jury got duped by the defense's attempt to trick them with their histrionic personality disorder bull shit.

Unlikely. I suspect he'll be put away for the rest of his life.

Not when it comes to child molesters. I'd even go as far as saying it would be more likely to convict an innocent individual of the crime than letting a guilty one go free.

Yes, I suspected that was the case when his ex-wife took out a restraining order or whatever you call it to prevent Sandusky from having contact with her children. Creepy and tragic is the word. I wonder if Dottie Sandusky can be charged with perjury for saying her husband never did anything wrong? I don't believe she was that dense.

Reading reports that they have reached a verdict. Just don't know what it is yet.

It's my understanding he hasn't been sentenced yet.

His attorney came outside the courthouse and said "Any guilty verdict is essentially a life sentence." The crowd cheered.
