Looks like for Verizon anyway the new bad boy smartphone on the block is going to be the Samsung Galaxy S III if its quality control and telephone quality is good for both regular to the ear and speakerphone as well as bluetooth reception. Motorola has struggled in the past with quality control on many models but they seemed to hit the sweet spot with the Razr. The Maxx is a huge seller for the heavy user crowd with its mega-battery. (The only difference between that the regular Razr.)
