For those of you that use Twitter, Global Affairs is now broadcasting. You can follow by going here: GlobalAffairs (GlobalAffrs) on Twitter
Nice!!!!!!!!!! Presume all permissions to specific forums are fine? IOW, I don't want to see gin joint out there.
Honestly? I'm still working that angle. There aren't any additional settings as far as forum permissions for this, so I'm hoping like hell that it follows the forum permissions that I have already set. If it doesn't, guess what's getting ripped out in a hurry. Edit -- There are permission settings. Working on it.
Phase two is now installed as well. If you go to UserCP and go to User Options, you'll find a Twitter option there that allows you to add your personal twitter information to your profile. You can then click on the thread tools link on each thread and have the thread "tweeted" to your own Twitter account. Now... Before you guys go apeshit with this, I need to warn you. If I find folks trying to twitter the private areas, I'll rip that permission out, never to be added again. I've specifically requested the ability to specify the forums the link is to appear in, and it should be added in a future release. However, for now, we just need to be careful what we're sending out over the Internet. And no... Honest boo-boo's are unacceptable. If you're unsure as to whether a thread is in a private area or not, don't send it.
Tom, some threads have the Digg/Flurl/etc icons at the bottom of each post, and some don't. Is that controlled by the thread location (private/public), or post count, or what?
I hope that thread with our photos is private. We could all end up for sale on Craigslist if that one ends up all over the Internet.
Apparently when Twitter is down (which it is right now) is doesn't allow GA's home/portal page to load completely.
