http://blog.chron.com/newswatch/2012/06/dad-beats-daughters-alleged-molester-to-death/ Can you say no-bill? If I were on the jury, there's just no way I'd indict him. If we're not permitted to use this kind of force in defense of our children, when would we ever be permitted to use any force at all? A father who said he saw a man molesting his 4-year-old daughter behind a barn in Lavaca County apparently beat the man to death Saturday afternoon, officials said. (snip) The group later heard the girl screaming behind the barn, Harmon said. Her father ran to see what was wrong and said he saw the man allegedly sexually assaulting the child. While pulling the man away from the girl, he hit the man several times in the head, Harmon said.
A classic example of what's been talked about before regarding the DA making the call or passing it to the Grand Jury to avoid political heat. It'll be interesting to see what the grand jury does. Considering the location of the crime I would guess they will not indict if the prosecution throws in details that corroborates the molestation.
My comment on the Chronicle's main site was that the dad should have given him CPR and revived the scrote, so the dad could beat him to death one more time.
SOURCE As a law enforcement officer, I would have a difficult time placing this man under arrest. As the father of a beautiful daughter, I'm very thankful I have never been placed in this situation. I would not be of a sound mind, nor would I be responsible for my actions... BDD...
Kind of surprising is the alleged perp, (the molester), is a Mexican national that was here legally. I was expecting otherwise. He had a valid Green Card. However, it's inferred that his family are all in Mexico as Texas officials are working with the Mexican consultate to identify and contact the relatives of the deceased. I wonder given the decease's alleged conduct if there will be an investigation going backward in time to see if he and obeyed and followed all the rules and procedures to get that Green Card. Personally, I suspect not. If such a thorough investigation was done I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the guy had a criminal and shady history in Mexico--none of which he revealed in applying for his Green Card and that separately he originally came here illegally.
Didn't mean to allude that he was illegal. Hispanics are known for their lewd culture when it comes to sex and women. I would say out of all cultures, they are #2, behind the actual Africans.
I wasn't suggesting that you were. I was surprised that he was not and also wondered if he legally got his Green Card. I doubt it and I personally suspect that he came here illegally before he got his card.
It wouldn't surprise me and in a selfish way that would buttress my argument against illegals, I am rooting for the fact that he WAS an illegal.
