I know exactly where this is and to be honest, the stupidity of the thieves is pretty evident since that spot is like in the middle of so many roads that most people passing or in vicinity would know what's going on.

They 'sped off' from South Street Seaport to Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, 4 miles away in 20 minutes. Must have been heavy traffic to average 12 mph, the driving directions say it takes less than 9 minutes, an average speed of almost 28 mph. I can't wait to see the chase on COPS: NY.
