Ha, but not like you think. :)

As you know, I started riding in to work on fridays (weather permitting) and I did that yesterday. The good thing about it is that the parking is free. The bad thing, it's on the street and exposed to all kinds of idiots.

I came out of work, got on the bike and saw that my left mirror was turned in. I look down and my left turning signal is dangling.

I saw red. The car that was parked there perpendicular backed in to my bike when I wasn't there. Unlucky for him, I remember the car and he will pay for it triple.

But anyway, I am out for the signal. It still works, no other damage was done thankfully. I think this ends my brief experience of leaving it on the street. :(

The good news, and the main gist of this post, is this made me make up my mind about Flushies. And just pulled the trigger on them.

So instead of the bike looking like this:

It will be more sleek like this:

And this is done now. Threw a pair of spinners on it as well. Came out nice. Glad I got the black and not yellow since the flames are black and it would have looked retarded in yellow.

Did my first oil change as well. And went riding all the way to Queens, through Manhattan (omg, an Indian parade!) and back to Brooklyn. Got waved over by a cop but he just wanted to know more about the bike. :)
