I am not sure by the many blog entries on my blog mean? (http://www.globalaffairs.org/forum//blog.php?blogid=2&goto=newpost)
Lenses are contact lenses vs. glasses and remember, I wear a fullie, so not sure what many of you mean that lenses are bad?

Ever get an eyelash under your contact? And regardless of helmet type, you still will flip the visor up at times. I know a few guys who wear contacts and ride. They're always digging out the spare pair after loosing one on the road for some reason or another.
Another benefit of glasses. Extra layer of protection (provided the lens is not glass).

I've ridden with contacts as long as I've been riding. When I was working escort, I didn't want to futz around with clip-on sunglasses, so I wore my contacts, and a pair of regular sunglasses. Never had an issue with the contacts moving, or an eyelash, or anthing like that. If I did, I'd pull over and deal with it, then get going again.
As far as glasses, I don't like the "fuzz zone," or the gap between the lense and your face. With contacts, the correction moves with your eyes. With glasses, the correction doesn't move in relation to your eye; you have to turn your head. :blank:

Same Bob. Naturally I have been only riding since April but I have yet to have an issue. I prefer lenses over glasses by a mile.
