I've seen a LOT of guys slave over their bikes (or if they do it properly, have their ol' lady slave over the bike), and spend a ton of money on fancy polishes that may or may not do the job.
Me? If I have to do it, I use Turtle Wax Chrome Polish. Stuff works great, and is easy to apply and buff off. Just make sure you use a very soft cloth. Put one scratch in the chrome and it's there forever.

Nice advice--especially for later for me when (and if) I get a cruiser.

That flat black Harley is not a bike I would have appreciated until you brought this up. :)

I don't like the front wheel much. Too narrow.

That front tire is perfect on the Heritage Softail (Springer, of course).

Daaamn...Per HD's site, the front tire is MH90-21 54H. Damn that's skinny, you're right.
The front tire on my V-Star is 130/90-16M/C 67H. Huge, in comparison :)

Yep, not a big fan of the skinny. Especially around here with wife pot holes.
