Thinking about this one

Been looking mainly at Goldwings or K1200LTs. I like being comfortable, and I like my music.

This one (http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/642275361.html) looks pretty tempting, but the price seems a little high. Book value is around $8,500, but he last said he wants at least $9,500 for the bike alone. I need a reality check here. Haven't seen it in person, but I'm going to call him today to see about it.

That's too much, IMO. My dad got $8000 for his '02 Wing when he traded it in, so I figure they probably re-sold it for $9500 or so (and it sold quickly).

You can find a newer Valkyrie Interstate for cheaper, if that bike interests you at all. Like this one (http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/651287560.html), for instance
