And sometimes you just want to throw them against the nearest wall. Plus, I've decided I have strange pets.

5AM this morning, my middle cat, Abby (short for Abby Normal. Fitting, in this case), decided that she HAD to wake me up. Paws my face, meows at me, until I finally get out of bed.

I let the dogs outside, feed them, and after getting that done, I see Abby sitting on the arm of the loveseat near the television set, where she starts meowing at me again, and looks at the television.

SHE WANTED THE DAMN TV TURNED ON!!!!!!!!!!

Turned the TV on, put it on the HD Science Channel, hit the mute and went back to bed. Get back up at 8:30-ish, and she is still in the same spot, eyes fixed on the TV. I'm currently watching Blue Planet on Science HD and she is now pawing at the TV occasionally.

I think my cat is now officially a TV junky lol

hahah cute! Except for the waking you up part. That wouldn't go over well. I had a cat, Baby, that used to sit up at the tv and paw at the cars as they went by. :nut:

I've learned to not ignore my dog wanting to wake me up. He's a real sleeper, and if he wants out it's usually for a damned good reason. Well, sometimes it's a possum on the phone wire...

It's gotten progressively worse as the day has worn on too. Attacking the TV while I was playing XBox. She tried smacking Tom Brady a little bit ago while I was watching the game lol.

And now, she is meowing and trying to swat pandas on the show Planet Earth on Discovery Channel.

My cat has lost her mind.

I used to keep lots of dogs, and I loved them to bits. I wish I still had the time to raise my labs.

Really funny thread
My dog did a similar thing a couple of weeks ago.
Dragged me out of bed and I went to unlock the back door to let him out...but no..
He wanted me to open the blinds so he could sit on the sofa and look out of the window.

When I shared a house with some friends we picked up a stray cat around the same time a housemate bought a Black Lab puppy, so basically they grew up together. This pretty much summarizes their relationship:
